As you breathe out I breathe in

The song upon my lips, the wind in my chest,
the spring in my step, the spread of my arms,
the breadth of my reach, the depth of my touch,
the air electric to carry each sound and scent,
all senses of this life and dreams of all worlds
are wound around, folded neatly, turned back upon,
put away pressed and proper
to be snapped open to life on the bed we share.
